Todo Cloud empowers millions of people around the world to get things done. Todo Cloud’s beautiful and intuitive interface enables you to easily create and share tasks, checklists and projects. Whether you are managing a complex work project with a team, planning a family reunion or simply sharing a shopping list, Todo Cloud has what you need. Todo Cloud is available as a free app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch on the App Store. To utilize syncing across devices requires a Todo Cloud Premium Account. Needs to be updated. (3.0.7) 3/4/2017 2:11:54 AM 3/5 By Clurichaun I recently acquired a Mac and this MacBook version as compared to the IOS versions is night and day.
I pay for the subscription but I am seriously thinking of looking at Omni when my time is up with ToDo Cloud. The IOS gets updates and works with syncing, without issues, even with this really old Mac version. Even though the info comes through on this end it is not set up as I have it on my Iphone and Ipad and there isn’t any way to change it, therefore I just stopped opening the app on the Mac because it’d pretty useless unless you just want to check out what’s coming up, but I can open my phone, which is easy and edit, erase and change as needed without the worry that this Mac app is so different and old I am afraid to make changes on it for fear it will mess up the info on my IOS devices.
Again, it's a very functional multifaceted ToDo manager but unfortunately that is not the impression people will get if only seeing as it is in the Mac app store. I’m not a developer but how hard is it to update the Mac version as opposed to the others? I see it as abandonware at this point, so please if so, just yank it from the store. Can’t even get in to the app (3.0.7) 6/21/2016 9:57:00 AM 1/5 By strandc I used ToDo several years ago, so I thought I’d give the new ToDo Cloud a try to see if I like it better than Todoist, which I’ve been using for a year or so.
When I opened ToDo Cloud, it wouldn’t let me go any further without a user name and password. I tried the user id and password that I used with my old ToDo app, but no luck. I’m not going to spend an hour figuring out how to even get this thing going when all I wanted to do is see if I like it better than the old ToDo. I’m assuming I probably need to download this to my iPhone or iPad and get it going from there, but I’m not going to waste the time to do that. I do most of my time management planning on my desktop. If Appigo is not commited enough to the desktop version to make it work properly from the get-go, then I’m not interested.
Getting better with each update (3.0.7) 2/12/2016 12:31:00 PM 5/5 By ScottNWDW I’ve used ToDo since it was first released on the iPhone. I love the app and with each update it gets better and better. It has a few features that other tasks apps I like do not have in addition the syncing via the cloud service has been seamless.
Now that the Mac version matches the look and feel of the iPhone and iPad it is a real pleasure to use again. ToDo has features that my other favorite task app lacks, and has a shorter learning curve than that app, but at the same time that other app has more powerful features as well as a few that ToDo does not have. On top of that, ToDo costs a whole lot less.
ToDo is a very high quality app and the support from the developer, on the very few occasions I needed has been quick and solved the issues at hand. I would highly recomend this app especially if you will be using it with the iPad or iPhone. Whether or not you choose ToDo Cloud or just ToDo you can’t go wrong. I personally choose ToDo cloud since I feel the syncing is better and the additional features that the cloud service provides are worth the small subscription price.
You can check with Appigo’s website for what those differences are and decide which version is best for your situation. This is a high quality app and I would recommend it to anyone. Useful companion to iOS, lacks polish and power (3.0.7) 1/20/2016 4:45:00 PM 3/5 By MaxR19 I have had a positive experience with Todo so far.
Todo for iOS is great! I handles everything a powerful todo list app should. However, the mac app doesnt feel like it has gotten nearly enough work.
On retina display, the icons are still fuzzy, suggesting they havent been updated in a long time. The mac app doesnt offer anything more than the iOS app. Given the extra screen realestate it feels like it should. The mac app having the same interface design as the iOS app does make it easier to switch between the two, but it makes the Mac app seem weak and underpowered. Their cloud based website version seems MUCH more polished than the Mac app. Unfortunaltey, the website is not as responsive as the Mac app, so I am hesitant to use it.
I hope the Mac app gets updated soon, so that it is at least as polished as the website version. I want my Todo list solution to be powerful, current, and polished. The iOS app definitley is, and I have read that the developer is working on a new version. Shame that they didn’t take time to improve on the underwhelming mac version.
We have been hard at work on our latest version of for iOS which just went live on the app store. And we're happy to announce that we're now giving away sync for free. This obviously gives you the benefit of not only having your task data backed up in the cloud, but available on all your iOS devices. And FYI, we are working feverishly on updates for Mac, Web, Windows (yes this will be new) and a brand-new Android version. The app now requires that everyone create an account on Todo Cloud. This is true even if you've been using the app without an account. So if you've been using Todo for a while and your premium account expired, you'll now see a welcome screen to easily create a free account before getting to your tasks.
If you're new, download the app, create an account, and enjoy the app! Either way basic features, including sync, is free. The basic features of Todo will continue to be free. More advanced features are part of premium and business subscription accounts. Here’s what all basic accounts will get for free:. Task Synchronization to the cloud.

Besides the issues below, sync has stopped working between the ios and mac versions of the app. Todo is a good basic app if you have less than 30 or 40 things and data corruption is not an issue. It has good potential, the developers could improve the sync problems and overall app issues and make it a great utility. I upgraded to verion 3.0.4 from 3.0.2 on the App Store. The app stopped working with my supported OS version.
I too was told they can reproduce the problem, but offered no fix, no previous version, just an offer to be a beta tester.(?) Software that was working and I've paid for simply has stopped working. When you have your work and personal tasks on a software program, syncing between desktops and mobiles, going a week without it is a significant 'hiccup'. Apple is also at fault for annihilating the last version of software updated from their App Store and offering no mechanism to download previous versions. At least on iOS apps you can pull updated apps out of the trash when they are 'upgraded to failure!' Simply going back to 3.0.2 would fix the issue for me but this simple solution seems to be too difficult for Apple or the developers to arrange. Bangbangboogie Agree with last reviewer.

J-C-D Great App. Todo is a great application, I’ve been using it for years. Take a look at the Todo cloud version. I’ve tried (bought) Omnifocus, Things, 2Do, Todoist, insert the rest here and continue to stick with Todo. Don’t get me wrong, I still look for and try any task app that comes out and retry apps when they are updated to see if I like them more.
There are a couple of things I like in other apps that Todo does not have such as 1)the option of showing calendar appointments along with task 2)the ability to add a photo or recording to a task 3)a few more integrations with apps like Spark and Drafts would be nice. But all those are minor items. I find the other apps even with those things I like, have more things I dislike about the basic operation of the task management piece.
I strongly sugest you try this app, particularly if you use it like I do on your Mac, iPhone and iPad and soon Apple Watch (I need an Apple intervention). Keep up the good work Appigo. CindyInTempe Tried a few and this one fits my needs perfectly!
This planning/to do app is just right. It has all the features I was looking for, but it is perfectly simple to use and appears uncluttered. The app doesn’t get in your way or make planning and tracking tasks a chore.
I’ve tried apps that were too simple (missing features and didn’t allow the level of planning/task management I needed), and apps that had all the features but felt cumbersome to use. This one hits the sweet spot - full featured, but beautifully simple, clean look and interface. The advanced options are there, but they don’t overwhelm the interface. They’re easy enough to find, but not in your face if you don’t need them. I highly recommend this app.
